I totally just got 2 of these for my 2 bathrooms! With 5 boys in the house this totally fits! I think I am going to put it either on the wall or the top of the toilet (if it fits). I want them to see the sign as they are going so it is like a constant nagging in their head!

If you are like me, I tend to wait last minute to get Valentines for my kids class parties. No boy wants to give their friends barbie or hello kitty, so this year I got it done early!

Head on over to the Dollar Tree and get your Valentines for $1! They have lots of cute cards! I bought Angry Birds for my 4th grader and  Cool Tattoos for my 5th grader! (see below)

If you have extra cards, make sure you give them to bus drivers, janitors, office staff, and of course their teacher!

How to remove stickers from hard surfaces, carpet, and/or clothing  –

Remove as much as the sticker you can by hand, what you can’t remove use with one of the following:

• Ben Gay and a blow dryer on low heat
• WD-40
• fingernail polish remover
• rubbing alcohol 
• peanut butter

***Note - do not use chemicals on fabric, but may use on hard surfaces

Tidbit - Get rid of ants!

The ants have come marching in. I want to get rid of them, but don't like to spray chemicals on my floor because my 3 year old plays with his toys on the ground. They have come up through my kitchen tile, so I found home remedies to get rid of them. I tried the chili powder and so far so good! Try some other remedies of items you may have in your house below!

To keep ants out of the house, find where the ants are entering the house and use items listed below around your house to get rid of them:

• ·       pour vinegar into their entrance area
• ·       use cucumber or cucumber peels
• ·       sprinkle chili powder, cinnamon, or anything spicy in liquid or powder form on entrance areas

If the above home remedies do not work, you may need professional help.

Hello my friends!

I am sorry there have not been too many posts the last couple of days. My Husband had surgery on his shoulder and I need to care for him.  I know you all understandJ The doctor had to do a bit more work than anticipated, so he is pretty uncomfortable. If you could kindly lift him up in your prayers that would be appreciated.

Also, I am starting a charity in honor of my best friend, my cousin Sarah who passed away 2 years ago from cancer. She loved children and wanted to help children in the cancer unit if she beat cancer, but unfortunately cancer won. I feel in my heart to carry on her dream. 

We are collecting silly socks to give children in the cancer unit. My cousin loved silly socks….I just started a blog to start recording our journey, it is called sarahssillysocks.blogspot.com. We just bought our first few pair of socks. This is a long ways until it is in full swing, but I would appreciate prayer for all the right things to happen to honor herJ

If you ever need me to pray for you I would love to return the favor!
